Our federation will be holding a final 10 online events before we resume over-the-board play from 4th<\/sup> Oct 2021 at the Smithfield Sports Centre in Kennedy Town on Hong Kong Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Period – 31st July to 2nd Oct 2021 every Saturday starting at 7:30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To qualify for a prize a player must take part in at least 6 events out of the total of 10.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Prize given is based on the total scored over the number of events played by a participant (max 10 events win = 50 pts). Prize giving on 4th Oct at Smithfield Sports Centre. Prizes will be calculated after all online events are completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Player must report to the Chief Arbiter his\/her HKG FIDE ID. Only players with HKG FIDE ID may win a prize.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. For entire period of 10 weeks, any player banned by chess.com will not qualify for any prizes  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Player must have a side camera in Zoom with his screen and tabletop visible throughout the games                     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. HKCFL will run Fair Play analysis on all the games played over this period                          <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Tiebreaks will be published before the start of round 1                               <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. If for any reason HKCFL is not able to complete 10 events all calculations will be based on the actual number of events completed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
