To promote the art and culture of chess in the Eastern District through the “Eastern District Sports Festival 2021\u201d this event is organised by the Eastern District Council and co-organised by our federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is to encourage newcomers to chess. All those known to us as rated in Rapid & Blitz will be rejected. Priority is given to residents \/students\/workers of the Eastern District. This is a fun first event for most beginners and inexperienced chess players. Winners will be disqualified if they are proven to have a chess rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition date: January 16, 2022 (Sunday)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition time: 09:45-12:45<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition venue: Aldrich Bay Community Hall<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition groups: Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Adults >18<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generous cash vouchers are offered to the prize winners and all are welcome. All participants shall receive souvenirs. All cash vouchers are in HKD. ENTRY IS FREE TO ALL !!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time control: 5 minutes plus 3 seconds increment per move<\/p>\n\n\n\n
