Online registration for this event is now open. This event is FIDE<\/strong> rated for Blitz which means only those with FIDE ID<\/strong> can play. Time control: 5 minutes plus 3 seconds increment per move. Participants should present themselves before 18:45 on Monday 22nd<\/sup> August, else will not be paired for round 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry Fee:
FREE <\/strong>\u2013 members of the Hong Kong Chess Federation Limited. Priority shall be given to members of HKCFL, non-members may be placed on a waiting list as there is a limit of 50 players allowed due to government regulations.

Tiebreaks
<\/strong>1) Direct Encounter (between players tied on same points)
2) Buchholz Cut 1
3) Greater Number of Wins as Black (forfeits counted as White)
4) Buchholz (all results counted)
5) Rating performance without 2 results (EM 2011)
NOTE<\/strong>: If the above is insufficient then they shall be declared Joint Champions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
