Our federation will host the 69th Festival of Sports on 18th & 19th April 2026. All are welcome to register for this event which comprise of 4 sections. These events are FIDE rated hence will require a FIDE ID to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amateurs Section (FIDE Rating : 1500 \u2013 1649)
Novices Section (FIDE Rating 1400 \u2013 1499 \/ Unrated – A maximum of 20% of registered players)<\/td><\/tr>
Format:<\/td>5 or 7 Rounds Swiss (FIDE-Rated) (Sections with 8 or less players will be Round Robin or merged with another group at the discretion of the Chief Arbiter).<\/td><\/tr>
Time Controls:<\/td>Open \u2013 90 minutes without increment
Novices \/ Amateurs \/ Challengers \u2013 60 minutes without increment<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
