HKSAR Junior Chess Championships 2026

The undisputed top junior chess event in Hong Kong has to offer to our most talented young players who will battle it out across multiple age categories to be crowned the very best in Hong Kong for their age group.

Open to every player holding a Hong Kong (HKG) FIDE ID — no qualification, no invitation needed. If you have the HKG flag next to your name on the FIDE rating list, you are welcome to register and fight for the title!

The stakes could not be higher: The champions and top-placed players will earn the official Hong Kong representative spots for almost all major international youth events in 2026, including Mainland exchange tournaments, the World Youth Chess Championships, and the Asian Youth Chess Championships.

This is your chance to compete at the absolute highest junior level in Hong Kong, etch your name in local chess history, and open the door to the world stage.
