Hong Kong National Junior 2021 – U14, U16 & U18

This is our national championships for juniors and the winners of these age groups qualify to represent Hong Kong (HKG) in international events where full board is offered. Later this year we will be announcing World and Regional chess competitions for you to take part in.

The dates for this event are confirmed for 20th & 21st February 2021.

This pandemic year we are forced to run this event online and we have chosen Tornelo.com and Zoom as our platforms. After you have registered online here you will be sent a tornelo player invitation for you to fill in your password. This invitation is sent to your email please check that the email that you gave us is valid and also that the invitation has not been sent to your spam folder.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not register for a player ID yourself as only those registered through the federation are allowed to play in these championships. Please check carefully the schedule in the regulations and other matters requiring your attention.

Entries close on 18th February 2021. Late entries accepted subject to the federation’s discretion. Apply direct to the Chief Arbiter.

NOTE: Only Hong Kong Permanent Residents can officially represent Hong Kong in world and continental FIDE events. All others can be entered as additional players.
