This event is FIDE rated for Standard which means only those with FIDE ID can play. Time control: 75 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move. Participants should present themselves before 6:45pm on Friday 22nd August, else will not be paired for round 1.

Entry Fee:
FREE – members of the Hong Kong China Chess Federation Limited. Priority shall be given to members of HKCCFL, non-members may be placed on a waiting list as there is a limit of 50 players allowed due to government regulations.
HKD950 – non-members with payment before start of event.
Prizes: Trophy for Champion and medals for 2nd and 3rd.
Recording of the game: All games must be recorded according to the Laws of Chess. Please use the scoresheets provided.
