Asian Games Selection Tournament 2022 – Open
The Hangzhou Asian Games will have a chess section and our federation has been invited to send a team to this most prestigious event.

This selection event will choose 5 players to represent Hong Kong at these games in September 2022. Top 5 positions as decided by tiebreak are automatically selected.
Please note in the regulations (in link below) that qualification criteria to play for HKG are stipulated by the Hong Kong Government and will be strictly followed.
Important Notice for the Asian Games selection
APPEALS: Any dispute will be referred to the Appeals Committee comprising of the President and all the board members of the Hong Kong Chess Federation.
