Hong Kong Chess Championship 2023
Our main championship to determine who is the strongest in Hong Kong will be played over 11 rounds from 3rd January through to 21st March on Tuesdays except for the Chinese New Year period with no games on 24th January 2023.
Time control is 75 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move. All games shall start at 6:45 pm sharp. At this time control players must record all their moves, the laws of chess apply.
Entry fee is HKD800.00 (free for all current members of HKCFL)
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Exclusively for HKG players only. The champion will be conferred the title of National Master with a certificate and a handsome trophy sponsored by our Vice President Daniel Lam.

RESTRICTED ENTRIES: Due to government regulations no more than 54 participants will be accepted. Priority is given to members of our federation. Our federation reserves the right to reject any entry without giving any reasons.
