Hong Kong National Blitz Chess Championship 2020
Online registration for this event is now open. This event is FIDE rated for Blitz which means only those with HKG FIDE ID can play. Time control: 3 minutes plus 2 seconds increment per move. Participants should present themselves before 18:45 on Monday 23rd November, else will not be paired for round 1. There shall be a handsome trophy for the champion generously donated by our Vice President Daniel Lam.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic all participants must sign our federation’s standard disclaimer before they can play. There are NO exceptions to this rule. Please download the disclaimer pdf below. Please print a copy and sign it then deliver to the Chief Arbiter Michael Cheung on the event day. All participants must wear a mask and bring their own sanitizer.

Entry Fee:
FREE – members of the Hong Kong Chess Federation Limited. Priority shall be given to members of HKCFL, non-members may be placed on a waiting list as there is a limit of 28 players allowed due to government regulations.
HKD300 – non-members.
