Hong Kong National Chess Championship 2022 & Olympiad Selection
Our National Championships will be played over 11 rounds from 4th Jan through to 22nd Mar on Tuesdays except for the Chinese New Year period with no games on 1st Feb 2022.
Time control is 75 minutes plus 15 seconds increment per move. All games shall start at 7:30 pm sharp. At this time control players need not record their moves when they have less than 5 minutes on their clock and may call on the arbiter to record the following moves till the end of the game.
Entry fee is HKD500.00 (free for all current members of HKCFL)
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Exclusively for HKG players only. The top 3 players qualify for the Hong Kong Olympiad team for the Moscow Olympiad in 2022. Only permanent residents may participate.

RESTRICTED ENTRIES: Due to government regulations no more than 54 participants will be accepted. Priority is given to members of our federation. Our federation reserves the right to reject any entry without giving any reasons.
