Hong Kong National Junior 2020
This is our national championships for juniors and the winners of these age groups qualify to represent Hong Kong (HKG) in international events where full board is offered. Standard chess over 2 days will be a real test for those who aspire to represent us.
The dates for this event are confirmed for 4th & 5th January 2020.
Venue will be the SKH St. Benedict’s School at 11 Lam Chung Ave, Choi Hung Estate, Kowloon.
Please check carefully the schedule in the regulations as different formats are used when there are players rated 1600 and above.

NOTES:
For 5 round events, time control has been changed to 80m +10s in line with FIDE regulations.
Only Hong Kong Permanent Residents can officially represent Hong Kong in world and continental FIDE events. All others can be entered as additional players.
