Maximum FIDE rating allowed NO limits on rating for Rapid & Blitz. For Standard events 2400 and above (rating for any player) the time control must be 4 hours per game e.g. 90m +30s . If all players are rated 1000 to 2399 then you may use 3 hours per game. 1799 (highest for any player) and below 2 hours per game.
