HKSAR Blitz Chess Championship 2026
Online registration for this event is now open. This event is FIDE rated for Blitz which means only those with FIDE ID can play. Time control: 3 minutes plus 2 seconds increment per move. Participants should present themselves before 18:45 on Friday 28th August, else will not be paired for round 1.

Entry Fee:
FREE – members of the Hong Kong China Chess Federation Limited. Priority shall be given to members of HKCFL, non-members may be placed on a waiting list as there is a limit of 50 players allowed due to government regulations.
HKD900 – non-members.

The winner officially represents Hong Kong at the World Rapid & Blitz Championships in December. However, only those who are a permanent resident of Hong Kong with HKID proof can be the official player.
