Golden Bauhinia Chess Open 2026
Our federation will host the 69th Festival of Sports on 18th & 19th April 2026. All are welcome to register for this event which comprise of 4 sections. These events are FIDE rated hence will require a FIDE ID to participate.

| Groups: | Open Section (FIDE Rating : 1800 – 1999) Challengers Section (FIDE Rating : 1650 – 1799) Amateurs Section (FIDE Rating : 1500 – 1649) Novices Section (FIDE Rating 1400 – 1499 / Unrated – A maximum of 20% of registered players) |
| Format: | 5 or 7 Rounds Swiss (FIDE-Rated) (Sections with 8 or less players will be Round Robin or merged with another group at the discretion of the Chief Arbiter). |
| Time Controls: | Open – 90 minutes without increment Novices / Amateurs / Challengers – 60 minutes without increment |
