School Chess Initiative by HKCFL
This is a new project by our federation and seeks to raise chess awareness among school children. We have secured the Shamshuipo Sports Centre for this purpose and will be holding regular events there in the coming months. Please join us for a casual session and get to know the officials of HKCFL.
Venue : Shamshuipo Sports Centre – Activity room 1 / 1st floor
Date : 10th May 2023
Time : 5 to 7 pm
Participants : Students of Primary/Secondary schools
Format : 6 rounds using swiss system (everyone gets to play every round)
Time control : 5min + 3sec increment per move
Entry Fee : FREE for this casual tournament
School team : 4 or more players of same school can qualify for a team
Individual : player can join as individual to play
Remarks : we are planning a school league to be launched in a month’s time. Students are invited to participate as individual as well as a team.
Transportation: Nam Cheung MTR exit A2 with a few minutes’ walk

校隊 ： 4 位 成一隊 可以參加計分校隊
個人 ：每位參賽者可以用校名個人名義參賽。 會計個人得分
交通 ： 南昌地鐵站 a2 出口 – 再 6分鐘 步行
備註 ： 今個年度 ， 總會將會推出 校際聯賽， 希望將棋藝能推廣至更多學校。同學可以組隊參加。 只要4 人 同校便可以參與成校隊計分 。 如果不夠人參加 ， 參賽者可以參與個人賽計分 。 歡迎同學 積極參與。
